Shipping Policy

At RareKnit, we are committed to delivering your orders safely and efficiently. Please review our shipping policy below:

Processing & Dispatch

  • Ready Stock Orders: Dispatched within order+1 business days after order confirmation.
  • Customized Orders: Processing time varies and may take order+2 business days before dispatch.

Couriers & Shipping Mode

  • Based on the delivery pincode, we select the best possible courier service for fast and reliable delivery.
  • All orders are shipped using “Surface Mode” by default.
  • If Air service is available for your location and our courier partners offer it, we automatically switch to Air Mode for faster delivery.
  • Currently, customers cannot select a specific delivery partner, as couriers are auto-assigned based on speed and reliability.

Shipping Time & Delivery

  • Estimated delivery time depends on your location and courier partner. Typically, orders are delivered within:
    • 5 business days for metro cities from date of shipping
    • 5-7 business days for other locations from date of shipping
  • Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, public holidays, or courier issues.

Shipping Charges

  • Free shipping on orders above 999.
  • A flat shipping fee of 50 applies to orders below this amount.

Order Tracking

  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email/SMS/WhatsApp.
  • You can track your order using the provided link.

Undelivered or Returned Shipments

  • If a package is undelivered due to an incorrect address or unavailability, re-shipping charges may apply.
  • If an order is returned due to refusal to accept, it will be sent back to the Rareknit inventory point.
  • Upon customer request, a 25% deduction will be applied to the refund to compensate for:
    • Infrastructure costs
    • Payment gateway fees
    • Shipping expenses
    • Loss of product availability in inventory for X number of days

Unreceived Parcels

  • In the event that you have not received your parcel, but the tracking clearly shows that it has been delivered, you must raise a ticket within 48 hours of the delivery.
  • Any tickets raised after 48 hours will not be entertained.

OTP Deliveries

  • Most deliveries are OTP compliant. The parcel will only be handed over to the customer upon sharing the correct OTP.

Damaged Parcels

  • If you receive a parcel in a damaged condition, we encourage you to:
    • Reject the parcel upon delivery, or
    • Record a video of the damaged condition while unboxing the item to support your claim.

Lost in Transit

  • If an order is marked as “Lost in Transit”, Rareknit will notify you once we receive a notice from our courier partner.
  • In such cases, you can choose to:
    • Receive a full refund, or
    • Request a new product to be sent.
